tesa® 61101 is a high-performance 1.6mm thick closed cell EPDM foam tape with an acrylic adhesive on one side. The EPDM foam is non-staining, non-corrosive and electrically non-conductive. The foam offers high temperature resistance (-40°C to 105°C) as well as resistance to UV light and ozone. tesa® 61101 is FDA approved to Section 177.26 (non-toxic, non-carcinogenic) standards and will not contaminate drinking water. It complies with auto industry standards and is compatible with plastics. The EPDM foam is also non-toxic and flame retardant according to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS 302). The tape is available in six other thicknesses: 3.2 mm (tesa® 61102), 4.8 mm (tesa® 61103), 6.4 mm (tesa® 61104), 9.5 mm (tesa® 61105), 12.7 mm (tesa® 61106) and 19 mm (tesa® 61107).
